This itinerary covers the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius, and the towns of Sorrento, Capri, Positano and Amalfi. The order begins with the ancient sites on the first day before proceeding to the coast. Capri appears on days two and four to allow time for the Gardens of Augustus without rushing the coastal towns on day three.
