This trip covers Seoul for four days, Tokyo for five days and Hong Kong for five days. The Seoul days start with palaces, hanok villages and markets before a full DMZ visit. Tokyo follows with central districts and a Kamakura excursion, after which the itinerary moves to Hong Kong Island, Lantau and Kowloon markets.

Book the DMZ tour at least one week in advance. Tours sell out quickly and cost around 50 USD per person.

Is the JR Pass worth it for Tokyo and Kamakura?

No. A 7-day JR Pass costs 50,000 yen, far more than local fares. A return trip from Tokyo to Kamakura costs under 2000 yen with an IC card.

How much does the Star Ferry cost in Hong Kong?
