How do you get to Buck Island?
Take a half-day or full-day trip with a licensed tour boat from Christiansted or Green Cay Marina. There is no ferry or public boat.
Is Buck Island snorkeling good for beginners?
Yes. The underwater trail is in fairly shallow water with signs on the sea floor, and tour boats provide gear and guidance.
Are there facilities on Buck Island?
Only basics such as picnic areas and restrooms near Turtle Beach. Bring water, snacks and reef-safe sunscreen.
