About Capri

Capri is a small limestone island in the Bay of Naples, reached by ferry from Naples or Sorrento. Boats arrive at Marina Grande, where a funicular climbs to Capri town and its Piazzetta. The Gardens of Augustus look over the Faraglioni rocks, and Anacapri, higher up, has the chairlift to Monte Solaro.

Trips here suit day visitors and those who want a quieter stay once the last ferries leave. Boat trips circle the island and stop at the Blue Grotto when the sea allows.
