How many days do you need for Siem Reap and Angkor Wat?
Four days cover the main temples, lake trip and museum. The temple visits here fit on two days, so the 3-day Angkor pass (valid over 10 days) is enough.
Do I need to book Angkor Wat tickets ahead?
You can buy passes online through the official Angkor Enterprise site, or in person at the Angkor Ticket Center on the road to the park. Arrive before 5:00 for sunrise to clear the gate quickly.
Is it safe to bike to Banteay Srei?
The 25 kilometer ride is safe on the main road with light morning traffic. Rent bikes in town the day before and start at 7:00 to return before heat builds.
How much does the Tonle Sap boat tour cost?
Private boat tours run 15 to 25 dollars per person for one hour. Book through your hotel for hotel pickup and a fixed price.
