Voyageurs National Park questions
Do I need a boat to visit Voyageurs?
For most of the park, yes. You can drive to the visitor centers and a few trails, but ranger boat tours or rentals are the way to see the lakes.
Can you rent a houseboat in Voyageurs?
Yes. Outfitters on Rainy Lake and Kabetogama Lake rent houseboats, and you book an overnight site through Recreation.gov.
Where should I stay near Voyageurs?
International Falls, Kabetogama and Ash River have resorts and cabins. The park also has boat-in campsites.
