Dinosaur National Monument questions
Where do you see the dinosaur bones?
At the Quarry Exhibit Hall on the Utah side, near Jensen. The Colorado side has canyons but no bone wall.
Can you touch the dinosaur bones?
Yes, a few bones on the quarry wall can be touched, and the Fossil Discovery Trail shows more fossils in the rock.
Can you raft through Dinosaur National Monument?
Yes. Commercial outfitters run trips on the Green and Yampa rivers. Private trips need a permit won by lottery.
