The trip spends the first six days in Mexico City and its surroundings. It covers the Zócalo, museums in Coyoacán and Chapultepec, the pyramids at Teotihuacan, and Xochimilco before buses move on to San Miguel de Allende. Four days there include Atotonilco, then four final days focus on Guanajuato.

Buses leave hourly from Terminal Norte and take four hours. Reserve ETN or Primera Plus seats online the day before.

Do I need tickets for Teotihuacan in advance?

You can buy entry at the gate or online in peak season. Buses from Autobuses del Norte take about one hour each way if you skip the tour.

Is one day enough for Guanajuato?

One full day covers the center and main monuments if you use the funicular early. Add an overnight to walk the callejones after dark.
