About Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum is a protected desert area in southern Jordan and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Red sandstone mountains rise from wide sand valleys, and Bedouin camps serve as bases for most visits.
Most visitors tour by jeep with a local guide, stopping at Lawrence's Spring, Khazali Canyon with its rock carvings, and the Umm Fruth rock bridge.
